ERTUS GROUP’s new R&D program is taking off in Canada with UBCO

ERTUS GROUP’s new R&D program is taking off in Canada, in partnership with the University of British Columbia, Okanagan (UBCO)!

Following up on a keynote talk at the Wine Leaders @entrepreneurshipUBCO CEO Strategy Forum in 2019 (check the last article), Alain SUTRE, our CEO, visited the prestigious UBCO campus in Kelowna last week.

He was introduced to leading agtech startups and UBCO researchers by UBCO Managing Director, Camille Saltman and University Industry Liaison Office Associate Director, Derek Gratz.

The purpose of these meetings was to share our exciting vision for the future of the wine industry and to put the first brick in the wall of a very promising cooperation for our R&D projects with the goal of developing new research themes in partnership with UBCO resources.

The unique ecosystem of UBCO, and its accelerator managed by Camille, is a fantastic opportunity to boost our strategic vision for the future of AgTech.

We start the first project in April 2020, and we are very impatient to prove that our vision fits UBCO’s vision too!
